Hey Everyone!
In Canada because we are a commonwealth country we celebrate Queen Victorias birthday with the festivities that are Victoria Day long weekend, or as I like to call it May 2-4. Oddly enough the long weekend doesn't fall on May 24th but the weekend before that.
On the monday of the long weekend Marina, her friend from school and myself all clamoured onto a train into the city and then hopped onto a ferry to Centre Island to go to a concert hosted by Electric Island.
We were a little hesitant about it at first but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. It was very different from any other concert as this was a 19+ event and it was a smaller venue where most of the concert goers had brought picnic blankets so they could stretch out, enjoy the sun and listen to the music.
Below are some pictures from the event, hope you guys enjoy!

Since I was unsure if it was going to be cold on the island I decided to dress for intermediate temperatures with layers that I could take on and off if I got too hot or cold.
What I wore:
For clothing I wore a black racer back American Apparel body suit paired with a pair of American Eagle high-waisted light wash destroyed denim shorts.
Tied around my waist I had one of my favourite flannel Abercrombie& Fitch plaid shirts to layer incase I got cold.
The hat that I am wearing is a Sapporo baseball cap that I won while at the concert and the shoes that I am wearing are my pair of Frye Combat Boots that I wear Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter!
